Rust: Halloween 2026 update
The Halloween event runs until November 5 with a candy hunt, buildable pet monsters, portals to unknown places and limited spooky store items.
Candy Hunt: roughly every two in-game days players get three minutes to collect candy. The top three win loot bags and leftover candy can be upgraded.
Monster building: collect body parts from scarecrows and mummies and craft a pet monster at a Frankenstein's table.
Rifts: portals open at random places and lead to unknown destinations. Server owners can change how many appear with the halloweendungeon.population setting.
The store has limited Halloween decor and skins, and a Zombie Wumpus plush for eligible Discord Nitro subscribers (October 22 to November 5). A Twitch Rivals event follows on October 23.
